Policy on an Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace

  7. Comprehensive computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ellucian (DATATEL) knowledge is a plus.

Environmental Sustainability

Environmental Sustainability: 1 (one) Graduate Assistant

Athletics- Women’s Cheer

Qualifications:

  3. Previous cheer coaching or teaching experience preferred, competitive cheer experience required.
  4. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.
  5. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere, including strong supervisory skills.
  7. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
Athletics- Lacrosse

Athletics- Lacrosse: 2 (two) Graduate Assistants (1 Men’s, 1 Women’s)

The Graduate Assistant for Lacrosse is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to recruiting, scheduling, training, monitoring academic progress, promotions, fundraising, and coaching team members. The graduate assistant is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by St. Ambrose University, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), of which St. Ambrose is a member.

The candidate should have a strong background on Defensive side of the game. Prior coaching experience in either the Defensive or Offensive side of the field is required.

Essential Functions:

  1. Assisting in all aspects of the coaching and management of the program
  2. Recruiting and scouting in accordance with the NAIA, KCAC and St. Ambrose policies and procedures
  3. Train and coach members of the program
  4. Supporting the academic and personal development of all athletes
  5. Assist in developing camps and clinics
  6. Responsible for complying with rules and regulations of the NAIA
  7. Represent St. Ambrose and the program in a professional manner

Qualifications:

  1. Earned Bachelor’s degree (prior to starting date).
  2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of SAU Registration required.
    Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
  3. Represent St. Ambrose and the program in a professional manner
  4. High level of personal integrity and outstanding work ethic
  5. Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations
  6. Knowledge of lacrosse specific skills and technique
  7. Experience recruiting scholarship athletes highly desirable

  3. Previous soccer coaching experience preferred, collegiate soccer playing experience required.
  4. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.
  5. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere, including strong supervisory skills.
  7. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
Athletics- Softball
